Mountain Ash Handicap 14 December 2012

Despite grumblings about the handicapper and the return of wintry conditions 22 intrepid souls braved the savage headwind and headed up the road to Bungonia. After the best part of an hours suffering 20 made it home again to be rewarded with an exhilarating gallop to the finish.

Range Road Scratch Race

Results are up for the Range Road Scratch Race held on 8 December 2011. Perfect wintry conditions saw some thrilling racing from where I was sitting with the Masters just missing out to the Young uns in A grade. The other Grades also saw some close finishing but with the headwind home the groups split up a bit.

We are introducing a new cycle challenge “The Bullamelita 20″ a 20km course for those of you wanting to do a decent ride but not quite as strenuous as the 60km or the 85km. NEW LIFE CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Congratulations to Graeme Northey!

During the annual Club Presentation evening in July 2011 Graeme Northey was awarded Life Membership of our club for his huge dedication to the club, his unlimited encouragement and coaching of our young members as well as the more mature riders and most recently for his work in making our new club house a reality. Finally we have a proper place to store all our equipment, trailer and many club bikes right next to Seiffert Oval Velodrome.

More details on the Club House will follow as well as the offical opening Ceremony.
